
Session 1: Covid-19 Transmission at Home
ISRN organised series one on Covid-19 Transmission at Home today where Dr. Subhash Hira, Dr. Anant Pandhare, and Dr. Swati Maheshwari were the key speakers who shared valuable knowledge on various Covid-related topics, symptoms to transmission, home isolation, Covid complications & measures, telemedicine and prevention of 3rd wave in India. The series saw participation of more than 100 people. The series was supported by program partner SDG Choupal, Nagrik Foundation and Media partner Dainik Bhaskar.

Session 2: Protection from the Covid-19: Vaccination and Preparedness for the 3rd Wave
ISRN organized its second series “Protection from the Covid-19: Vaccination and preparedness for the 3rd wave,” where Dr. Chandrakant Lahariya, MBBS, MD, FIPHA; Dr. Deepti Dongaonkar, MD (OBGY); DGO; MRCOG; Dr. Lt Gen Madhuri Kanitkar, AVSM, VSM, DY CHIEF IDS (MED) were the key speakers who shared their valuable knowledge on vaccination efficacy, Govt’s plan, busting the myths around it and promoting vaccination drive. They also highlighted 3rd wave, covid variant impact, family planning during pandemic, precautionary measures during pregnancy and lactating mothers, care for children and chances of infection in 3rd wave. The series was supported by program partner SDG Choupal, Nagrik Foundation and Media partner Danik Bhaskar and saw a participation of more than 300 people.

Session 3: Impact of Covid-19 & emergence of new diseases
ISRN organised its third series “Impact of Covid-19 on lungs and the emergence of new diseases” where Dr. Vijay Kapse, Associate Prof. Pulmonary Medicine, DR SCGMC, Nanded; Mrs. Smita Agrawal, Director, Sivananda Yogalife; Dr. Ravi Gaur, Principal Advisor, Spice Health were the key speakers who shared their valuable knowledge on the impact of COVID infection on lungs, oxygen management & breathing exercises at home and emergence of new diseases such as Black Fungus infection amid Covid.They also highlighted the impact on use of self medications with steriods, yoga-based lifestyle, precautionary measures, use of hygienic mask, etc. The series was supported by program partner Sdg Choupal, Nagrik Foundation, Sadbhawana Gramin Vikas Sansthan, Jan Lok Kalyan Parishad, Surguja Gyanodaya Association and Media partner Dainik Bhaskar and saw a participation of more than 200 people.

Series 4: Mental Health & Coping with Covid-19
ISRN organised its fourth series “Mental Health and Coping with Covid-19″ which was graced by our dignified key speakers Dr. Narender Kinger, Clinical Psychologist, Counsellor & Psychotherapist, Dr Shivangi Pawar, MD, Psychotherapist, Dr. Nitin Agarwal, MD, Ayurveda practitioner, Bliss Ayurveda and Prof. S. L. Harikumar, Professor in Pharmaceutics Registrar, Central University of Jharkhand, Ranchi conveyed their expertise insights and knowledge on the importance of mental health and Covid-19, the roles of Psychiatry, Ayurveda and Homeopathy in the treatment of Covid-19, the uses of ayurveda for immunity booster and Stress Management among Students and its Impact on their Effective Learnings.The series was supported by our Program partner Sdg Choupal, Nagrik Foundation, Sadbhawana Gramin Vikas Sansthan, Jan Lok Kalyan Parishad, Surguja Gyanodaya Association, Academic partner Central University of Jharkhand – CUJ and Media partner Dainik Bhaskar. There were more than 300 participants from several states of India who were present throughout the session.
