Internships

The envisaged Internship program is an opportunity for young ST graduates to contribute and interact closely with the NCST, state governments, and district administrations for the welfare of STsin specific districts having significant ST populations. The internship shall be part of a research endeavour, undertaken by ISRN & NCST to understand the gap in the delivery of government schemes so that the ST community reaps the expected benefits of these schemes effectively. The program shall be unique in social innovation, sustainability, and scalability, with multi- sectoral collaboration supported by rigorous research and mentorship.

 

Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Interaction with locals to gather data about the ease of access to the schemes

  • Dissemination of information pertaining to the schemes within the districts

  • Compile experiences of the tribal people in the district

  • Recording the problems faced in the implementation of the schemes

  • Provide information about the benefits of the Governmental flagship schemes

  • Give inputs to the NCST on potential improvements on respective schemes 

 

Who Can Apply:

  • Age Criteria: should be at least 18 years of age
  • Education & Work Experience Criteria: Graduate of any field, along with some added skill set from the respective field ( for example: content creation, graphic designing, video editing, research, program management)
